GrantAuthentic Country from the Heart of the Texas Panhandle
Deep-seated in Amarillo, TX, Grant Gillispie brings authentic country music from the heart of the Texas Panhandle. A singer/songwriter who began exploring music at 13, his sound blends the classic outlaw country he grew up on with a modern rockabilly edge that sets him apart.
Before making the leap to Austin's live music scene in 2021, Grant spent time DJ'ing at Scruffy Murphy's in Waco — sharpening his ear for what moves a crowd and learning the business of nightlife from behind the booth. By 2023, he'd relocated to Dallas, released his debut album Heartbreak Honky Tonk, and started working with full bands to bring his sound to bigger stages.
Now performing across the state with a string of 2025 releases — "Here's to You," "Honey Hole," "Hurt No More" — Grant has built a reputation as a live performer who delivers every single time, on every stage, in every corner of Texas.
Grant is available as a solo act, a duo, or with a full band
Just Grant, his guitar, and a room full of people who came to hear a story. This is where the songwriting hits hardest — raw vocals, honest lyrics, and the kind of quiet intensity that makes a room lean in closer.
Double the muscle without doubling the setup. Grant pairs with a second musician to fill mid-sized rooms with rich harmonies, trading licks and building energy that a solo set can't touch. Same authenticity, bigger sound.
Grant Gillispie with a full band behind him — the complete Texas country experience, cranked to eleven. This is boot-stomping, beer-raising, outlaw rockabilly energy that turns any venue into a Saturday night in Austin. No one sits down.
